Full Home Renovation
We take care of the whole job — layout changes, structural work, trades, materials and the finishing details. One manager runs the schedule and keeps you updated, so you always know what's happening in your home this week.
From the first idea to the finishing touch, we bring together repairs, renovations, design, installations and modern upgrades to create spaces that work beautifully and feel completely your own.
Tap what needs attention and we'll build your to-do list.

Dwelling Home Upgrade started because hiring help for your home was harder than it needed to be. Too many quotes that changed halfway through. Too many crews that showed up late, or not at all. We wanted to build something simpler.
Today we handle renovation, design, installation, smart-home, protection and financing under one roof. You get one written quote, one project manager, and one team that treats your floors, furniture and time with respect. Every technician is licensed, insured and background-checked before they set foot in your home.
We're not the cheapest, and we don't pretend to be. What we offer is work that's done right the first time, materials that hold up, and honest answers even when they're not what you hoped to hear.
To make hiring home services simple and stress-free — with clear pricing, skilled tradespeople, and communication you never have to chase.
To be the company homeowners recommend to their neighbours, because the work held up and the experience was genuinely easy.
Licensed, insured and background-checked specialists for every trade we offer.
Quality products from suppliers we've worked with for a long time. No cheap substitutes.
An itemised written quote before we start. What you approve is what you pay.
A milestone schedule you can check, plus daily updates while the work is running.

We take care of the whole job — layout changes, structural work, trades, materials and the finishing details. One manager runs the schedule and keeps you updated, so you always know what's happening in your home this week.
Our designers plan rooms around how you actually live — where the light falls, where people gather, what storage you're missing. You get layouts, material samples and a shopping list you can approve before anything is ordered.
The front of your house is the first thing anyone sees. We update siding, entryways, paint colours, pathways and outdoor lighting so the whole exterior looks considered rather than patched together over time.
Furniture, lighting, rugs, artwork and the small things that make rooms feel finished. We source pieces that suit your budget and taste, then place and hang everything properly so you don't spend a weekend with a drill.
Bathrooms fail when waterproofing is rushed, so we never rush it. Expect proper membranes, level tiling, quality taps and fittings, and ventilation that actually clears the steam. Small refresh or full strip-out, both done the same way.
We plan kitchens around your cooking habits, not a showroom photo. Cabinets sized to your storage, worktops that handle daily use, sensible power points, and lighting where you actually chop. Every door and drawer adjusted before we leave.
Blocked or badly angled gutters cause damp walls and cracked foundations. We measure the fall, fit seamless runs on site, colour-match them to your trim, and add leaf guards so you're not up a ladder every autumn.
Good flooring starts underneath. We check the subfloor for damp and level it before laying hardwood, engineered board, tile or vinyl. Neat thresholds between rooms and skirting refitted properly, not left with gaps.
Full strip-off, new underlay, proper flashing around chimneys and valleys, then shingles, metal or tile to suit your house. We check the loft ventilation too, since that's what stops condensation forming under a brand new roof.
New units are only as good as the fit. We remove the old frames cleanly, insulate the gaps, seal against draughts and finish the trim inside and out. The result is a quieter home and noticeably lower heating bills.
Video doorbells and keyless locks fitted, wired and connected to your phone. We set up guest codes for family or cleaners, test the notifications with you, and make sure there's still a physical key that works if the battery dies.
We walk the property, find the blind spots, then place cameras, sensors and motion lights where they'll actually help. Cables run out of sight, everything labelled at the panel, and a proper handover so you know how it all works.
We look at your actual electricity bills before recommending a system size, so you're not oversold panels you don't need. Mounting is sealed to keep the roof watertight, and you get an app showing exactly what you're generating.
Interlinked smoke alarms so every unit sounds together, carbon monoxide detectors near fuel-burning appliances, and extinguishers where they're reachable. We test each one with you and leave a simple card showing what to check monthly.
Irrigation on a timer so the garden survives holidays, low-voltage lighting along paths and steps, plus edging, turf and raised beds. Planned so it looks good in winter too, not just for the few weeks everything is flowering.
We compare warranty plans and insurance policies side by side and translate the small print into plain language. You'll know what's covered, what's excluded, what the limits are, and who to phone when something actually breaks.
Because we build and repair homes, we know what an inspection report really means. We advise on which repairs are worth doing before listing, what a property will genuinely cost to fix, and how to price and negotiate sensibly.
Financing for a purchase or a renovation, arranged through lenders we've worked with before. We compare rates, explain the total cost rather than just the monthly figure, and handle the paperwork so nothing stalls at the last minute.
Boilers fail, ovens die, air conditioning quits in the middle of summer. A home warranty covers the repair or replacement of the systems and appliances you rely on. We compare the available plans, explain the coverage caps and exclusions in plain language, and register everything properly so there's no argument when you need to claim.
Ask About WarrantyMost people are underinsured and don't find out until they claim. We work out what your home would genuinely cost to rebuild, compare policies line by line, and point out the gaps — flood, accidental damage, contents limits, alternative accommodation. Then we review it again whenever you extend, renovate or add something valuable.
Review My CoverAn inspection report full of trade terms is hard to judge on your own. Because we do the repair work ourselves, we can tell you what's serious, what's cosmetic and what it will actually cost to put right. When selling, we advise on the handful of fixes worth doing first, and support you through pricing and negotiation.
Talk To An AdvisorWhether you're buying or funding a renovation, we work with lenders we've dealt with before and know will actually complete. We compare rates properly, show you the total cost over the full term rather than just the monthly payment, and handle the paperwork so the process doesn't stall two days before completion.
Explore FinancingNothing here is a slogan. Each one is written into the contract you sign.
Every person who works on your home holds current licences and insurance, and has been background-checked. We handle the permits and inspections too.
An itemised written quote before anything starts. If something unexpected turns up behind a wall, we stop, show you, and re-quote before continuing.
Checks at each stage with photos shared as we go, so problems get caught early rather than discovered after the tiles are already down.
Materials ordered ahead of time and trades booked in sequence, so nobody's waiting around. Quick, but never at the cost of doing it properly.
Eighteen services under one roof means one contract and one point of contact, instead of chasing four different companies for one project.
A real person answers the phone. Your project manager stays the same from the first visit through to the final walkthrough and afterwards.
No hidden fees, no surprise charges added at the end, and no pressure to buy anything you don't need. If something isn't right, tell us and we'll come back and fix it.
They did our kitchen and main bathroom back to back. The crew turned up when they said they would, put down floor protection every single morning, and cleaned up before leaving each evening. When a pipe turned out to be in the wrong place they showed me, explained the options and re-quoted before touching it. No drama at all.
We were living in another state while our house was being renovated, which was nerve-wracking. They sent photo updates every Friday and did a video walkthrough whenever we asked. The final invoice matched the quote to the dollar. Our neighbours have since used them for their roof on our recommendation.
Solar panels, a smart lock and cameras all done in the same week. What impressed me was the tidiness — every cable is hidden, the electrical panel is properly labelled, and they spent half an hour showing my wife and me how the app works instead of just handing over a manual.
I'd been putting off decorating for ages because I couldn't picture it. Their designer listened, showed me three options and was honest about which she thought would work best in our light. Everything arrived when promised and they hung all the artwork themselves. The house finally feels finished.
A storm took out part of our roof and the gutters. They tarped it the same day I called, then handled all the photos and paperwork for the insurance claim. New roof went on two weeks later and it has not leaked since, through some genuinely heavy rain. Booked them again for windows.
Quoted accurately, scheduled tightly, finished a day early. The cabinets are lovely and every drawer closes softly and evenly. Honestly the thing that stood out most was the daily clean-up — I have a toddler and I never once worried about her walking through the kitchen after they'd gone.
You get a written quote that splits out materials, labour and project management, so you can see exactly where the money goes. You approve it before we start and payments are tied to completed stages, not dates on a calendar. If we open a wall and find something unexpected, we stop, show you and re-quote that portion before carrying on.
Yes. Someone comes out, looks at the job properly, measures up and talks through your options at a few different budget levels. You get the written estimate within two working days. There's no charge and no follow-up sales calls — if you decide not to go ahead, that's completely fine.
It depends on the job. A bathroom is usually four to six weeks, a kitchen six to ten, and a whole-house renovation is planned in phases we agree with you first. Every quote includes a stage-by-stage schedule, and you get an update each day the crew is on site so you always know where things stand.
Absolutely. You can use our trade accounts, buy your own, or mix the two. We'll walk you through samples and be honest about how different options hold up over time. Anything bought through us carries its full manufacturer warranty, which we register in your name.
Everyone is licensed for their trade, background-checked, and covered by both liability and workers' compensation insurance. We send you the certificates before work begins, and we're happy for you to verify any licence number directly with the issuing body.
Our own written warranty covers the workmanship, and every product carries its manufacturer warranty on top. We register those for you and put all the paperwork in a handover pack at the end. If something goes wrong, one call to your project manager gets it sorted.
Yes, one project manager from the first visit to the final walkthrough. You get their direct number and their working hours, plus a written summary each week and a shared schedule you can look at whenever you want to check what's happening next.
We walk the whole job with you and write down anything you're not happy with, then fix it before we invoice the final stage. You get a handover pack with warranties, care instructions and permit copies, and we check in again a few weeks later to make sure everything is still performing.
We do. There are seasonal plans for roofs, gutters, irrigation, smart systems and general upkeep. Customers on a plan get priority booking, reminders before things are due, and lower rates on callouts. You can also just phone us as and when something needs doing.
Call your project manager directly, or use the main line and you'll get a person rather than a menu. Urgent issues like leaks or no heating get same-day attention. Everything else is booked into the next available slot, usually within a couple of working days.
Six steps: a free visit, then a written quote and design, then contract and scheduling, then the work itself with the site protected, then stage checks, then the final walkthrough and handover. You sign off at each stage and nothing moves forward until you're happy.
Yes, all of it. We prepare the drawings, file the applications, book the inspections and deal with any corrections the inspector asks for at our own cost. Copies of every approval go into your handover pack, which matters later if you ever sell.
